LEED-EBOM 2012 is Around the Corner
The next revision to LEED-EBOM (currently v.3) is scheduled for release in 2012, and the LEED Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) have already developed their improvement workplans for the various Rating Systems. This means that recommended changes need to be submitted soon, as the revision process begins its journey through the TAGs, to the public comment periods, to the balloting process, and to ultimate completion. In order for us to meet this timetable, the deadline for us to recieve comments is January 30, 2010.

Green Cleaning Focus
The Ashkin Group, LLC. along with The Green Cleaning Network, LLC. has been chosen to help the Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) TAG with revisions to the Green Cleaning prerequisite and credits. Our task is to solicit, collect, organize, analyze, and ultimately make recommendations to the IEQ TAG regarding Green Cleaning. These recommendations will not only affect LEED-EBOM but the other LEED Rating Systems as well.

Your Comments are Important
We need your comments and suggestions by January 30, 2010. Please consider the experiences you or your clients have had working with LEED-EBOM v.3. Review the current language (LEED-EBOM Overview) and provide us with your thoughts. Suggestions may include ideas to clarify the existing Green Cleaning prerequisite and credits, consider new innovations and changes in technology, make certain credits either more difficult or easier to achieve and so on.
